transcosmos helps Asian companies’ globalization efforts in Europe
transcosmos inc. has expanded its BPO/Call center services in the European region. In December 2016, transcosmos has expanded its center in Hungary (Debrecen). New centers were opened in Romania (Cluj) and Poland (Warsaw) in January and June 2017 respectively. Cooperating with the company’s existing center in the Philippines (Manila), the new centers will accelerate transcosmos’s multi-language BPO and call center services for both Western and Asian companies. transcosmos aims to expand the number of workstations of its European BPO and call centers from approximately 750 today to 2,000 by 2020.

On June 1, 2017, transcosmos opened a new operational center in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, with approximately 100 workstations. Its services for a mobile device manufacturer went live late June. ■ Helps Asian businesses venture into the European market and vice versa
transcosmos helps Asian companies make inroads into the U.S. and European market, in addition to providing support in Asia through leveraging its operational bases located across 12 countries in Asia, including China, South Korea and ASEAN countries. The company will further strengthen its sales capability in order to support global companies based in Europe in their home market, whilst helping their market entry in Asia.
■ Leveraging near-shore/off-shore bases in Eastern Europe and the Philippines, helps clients save costs
One of the challenges in providing services in Europe is to build a cost-effective operational model. Although simply categorized as “Europe”, the language differs per country in the region. Therefore, it is critical for businesses to prepare operators who can support the customers in their respective local language. transcosmos is ready to support 13 European languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Dutch, in addition to English. Going forward, transcosmos endeavors to deliver services in English, European and other multiple-languages through closely connecting the near-shore/off-shore bases in three Eastern European countries and the Philippines, whilst enhancing the services building on Chat-bot, RPA, AI, auto-translation and other technologies in order to support digitalized customer touchpoints as well as to improve cost effectiveness.
transcosmos has formed a business and capital alliance with Merlin Information Systems Group Limited, a British BPO company in December 2011.
