Zentera Systems Named by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Cloud Security, 2017

SAN JOSE, California, June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Zentera Systems, Inc., the leader in infrastructure security for the multicloud, announced today that Gartner has named the company a Cool Vendor in Cloud Security for 2017.  The report, by Jay Heiser, Greg Young, Steve Riley and Neil MacDonald of Gartner, Inc., states, “In 2017, more than half of new IaaS deployments that use only the IaaS vendors’ security offerings will add third-party security within 12 months due to dissatisfaction.”*

Zentera’s CoIP® (Cloud over IP®) suite of solutions includes multiple security capabilities that together offer defense-in-depth for cloud, on-premise and multicloud deployments. CoIP’s security can be unified with Zentera’s proprietary on-demand virtual network overlay.  The combined CoIP platform provides multicloud security and networking together with network encryption, micro-segmentation and application whitelisting. CoIP is cloud and transport agnostic, and can be deployed rapidly without interfering with existing infrastructure or security measures.

“We believe being designated as a Cool Vendor validates the significance of innovative solutions like CoIP,” said Jaushin Lee, Zentera’s CEO. “Enterprise security now needs to be as strong in the cloud as in traditional on-premise environments, if not stronger, and CoIP is a key part of the overall solution for meeting that need as well as compliance needs.”

Zentera will be demonstrating the CoIP platform and multicloud security and networking solutions at the Cisco Live Show in Las Vegas, NV, June 25-29, at booth 3011.
