HomeGrid Forum Certifies Three New Sagemcom HomePNA Products
HomeGrid Forum today announced that it has awarded HomePNA certification to three new Sagemcom products that have passed HomeGrid’s stringent HomePNA certification testing. The addition of these new products to the increasing list of certified HomePNA systems follows Sagemcom’s first HomePNA Residential Gateway earlier this year.
“We believe that HomeGrid’s certification is a mark of distinction. Integrating certified HomePNA into our products enables service providers to deliver a highly reliable in-home backbone for extending and enhancing existing Wi-Fi® networks and providing the Quality of Experience that consumers have come to expect. With a HomePNA-based network, consumers can move an ever-expanding range of media content around the home quickly and easily,” said Ahmed Selmani, Deputy CEO of Sagemcom Broadband.
John Egan, President of the HomeGrid Forum said: “Sagemcom continues to expand its range of certified HomePNA products to meet market demand, providing both consumers and service providers with a solid and high quality range of HomePNA products. The level of ongoing commitment to HomePNA technology, demonstrated by Sagemcom and many others, ensures a continuous flow of new, quality products to the market. Sagemcom’s continued commitment to HomePNA technology underscores the importance of HomeGrid’s certification program for HomePNA devices as well as the strength of the technology for service providers.”
