MDSL Forges Mobile Partnership With GEMA (Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance)
July 9 2013 – London, New York, Paris, Gothenburg, Tokyo and Hong Kong –
MDSL, the leading provider of international Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management solutions has announced a new reseller partnership with the Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance (GEMA), the foremost provider of global Managed Mobility Services (MMS).
The new partnership is exclusive to MDSL and is the culmination of an extended search by GEMA, commencing at the start of 2013, to source a global TEM provider who could complement their MMS proposition to multi-national companies world-wide with a comprehensive expense management solution. At the end of a wide-ranging selection process involving representations from a number of providers, MDSL has been selected as GEMA’s preferred partner.
The two companies have already collaborated on a number of new business presentations, including MDSL support during GEMA’s sponsorship of this year’s “BlackBerry Live” event in Orlando, in May.
Nick McQuire, Managing Director and CEO of GEMA International Limited, said: “GEMA’s aim is to aid international organisations to make better use of mobile technology. The increasing implementation of bring your own device (BYOD), the growing number of these devices and the increasing complexity of the applications which have to be managed are making it very challenging for enterprises to secure and manage their information while still ensuring that their employees can fully collaborate with each other. GEMA members continue to provide frequent counsel on mobile device management to global businesses.
“We are looking forward to breaking new ground in partnership with MDSL in the development of new ways to advise leading global players on how to keep in the forefront of the mobile revolution. Corporate management of mobile devices is now a core competency which, if not managed and kept up to date, could result in security breaches, data loss and serious downtime for major companies. We aim to avoid that for our clients.”
MDSL CEO and founder Ben Mendoza added: “It is so important that our partners fully understand MDSL’s commitment to managing the country-specific data and security issues which are critical to providing TEM and MMS to geographically diverse corporations. So we are delighted to be working with GEMA, who offer such broad knowledge and MMS capabilities that span some 120 countries and 30 languages via their member network. Together, our combination of global products and services is unmatched anywhere in the world.”
