Registration opens for NAID-ANZ conference

SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES – Online registration has opened for the NAID-ANZ 2013 Conference. The one-day event will be held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, at the Sheraton on the Park on 19 Feb. 2013.

The event, “Shining a Light: The Path to a Better Industry,” will be packed with unique educational and market awareness content as well as a press conference. Registration officially opened Tuesday, 1 Dec. Advanced registration is $149 USD.

“Most people have never attended a full blown press conference, not to mention a press conference that is specifically aimed at raising awareness about their industry,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “If our experience is anything like similar events held in Toronto, Madrid, and London, there will be plenty of opportunities for members to get significant media exposure.”

Besides the press conference, there will be educational sessions offered during the day. Such sessions include opening remarks from an official of Australian Information Privacy Office, opportunities in e-waste, a panel of security and privacy official discussing how they view destruction services, and an in-depth review of how companies around the globe are using social media to increase brand awareness.

“We are delighted to be bringing this educational and networking opportunity to the secure destruction industry,” added Johnson. “The conference as well as the study release will hopefully help introduce NAID-ANZ to secure destruction services in the region and raise awareness of the need for secure information disposal.”

Those individuals interested in attending the NAID-ANZ 2013 Conference should register soon because space is limited. To learn more about the event and to register, visit http://bit.ly/NAIDANZ2013.
