One Llama Labs Adds Audio Artificial Intelligence to Music Discovery with Vision for Integrating Benefits of Wearable Devices

New York — Mar 12, 2014 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) — One Llama Labs (http://www.onellamalabs.com) today unveiled the next generation of its music recommendation system. Founded by some of the world’s leading experts in machine learning and music information retrieval, the One Llama Labs team invented an advanced acoustic art ificial intelligence system that provides unique benefits to music recommendations. The One Llama system is designed to generate playlists for any size library, and can be tuned to the personal interests of users, whether it be based on genre, mood, activity, language or geography.

“One Llama Labs has a rich history in music recommendation using machine learning methods” says Kurt Bauer, One Llama Labs’ CEO. “The One Lama Labs music recommendation system is so much more than an API for returning limited responses to queries. It provides music services the tools needed to create a rich recommendation system inside their service much like what we expect Spotify will do with The Echo Nest.”

One Llama Labs also plans to integrate the acoustic intelligence designed for wearable devices into the realm of its music recommendation system. The information gleaned from sensing relevant acoustic activity will be used to improve the recommendations.

One Llama’s artificial intelligence technology is based on research that began over 10 years ago at the University of Illinois National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) when One Llama’s founders received a grant from the National Science Foundation. The team used machine learning and developed novel methods to analyze large datasets of music information, audio and other data types.
