Asurion Expands Commitment to Protecting Consumer Data Through APEC Privacy Certification

NASHVILLE, Tennessee, April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Asurion, a global technology protection and support provider, announced today its data privacy program is certified compliant with the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation’s (APEC) Cross Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) system. Asurion partnered with TRUSTe, the leading global data privacy management (DPM) company, to certify Asurion as being CBPR compliant following an extensive review of Asurion’s privacy policies and practices.
