Striking panels add effortless class to event styling
New styling product designed to bring maximum impact, with minimum fuss to the event industry has been developed by Staging Connections. The new 2D and 3D Scenic Panels, launched at the Hyatt Regency Sydney this month, provide a versatile design element that adds movement and depth to a venue.
The leading events services company has developed the clever system with maximum flexibility to enhance the look and feel of any space and create unlimited options through the use of lighting, pattern and style. The design of the scenic panels allows them to be customised through the use of projection and up-lighting.
At the recent Hyatt Regency Sydney launch, the panels elevated the elegant and dramatic atmosphere of the event. The intricate geometric stain glass designed laser cut panels created a chic 2D fascia around the stage and bar.
Andrew MacColl, Director of Event Technologies for Staging Connections commented on the Scenic Panels as a new product.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer the versatile Scenic Panels to every event, they transform spaces. They can be used to create big statement pieces or simply transform previously overlooked design elements, like turning the stage at the Hyatt Regency event into a chic styling touchpoint that seamlessly combined the overall look and feel of the event.
“We are continuously looking for opportunities to develop new event technologies and products that provide Australia’s event industry an innovative and creative edge. The flexibility of the new 2D and 3D Scenic Panels provides endless application opportunities from stage backdrops, room dividers, features, stage fascia’s to ceiling installations,” said Mr MacColl.
To design and produce the new styling panels, extensive industry research was carried out, and a specialised supplier and engineering company was commissioned to accurately cut the panels to perfect symmetry. Staging Connections 2D and 3D Scenic Panels are now available in every Staging Connections base location, as well as all venues where they are in-house in Australia and New Zealand.
