Tomorrow’s world at the iENA Austria is partner of this year’s inventor trade fair

(PresseBox) The International trade fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products” iENA this year again reaches out to meet its reputation as the most important specialized trade show for the international invention scene. Creative product ideas, unusual inventions and technical innovations bring trade visitors from more than 44 countries (2015) to the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre every year. For more than 68 years the iENA has now been the international platform for the marketing of inventions. Free inventors and international inventor associations, as well as businesses, crafts enterprises, universities and research institutions use the trade show for networking with like-minded people and as marketing platform.

High-level of internationality at the leading global trade show for inventions

The good results during the previous years confirm the international importance of the inventor trade show as market place for the invention scene throughout the world. Already in spring, several collective inventor organisations from countries such as China, Korea, Malaysia, Poland and Russia confirmed their participation in this year’s show. But also new international participants such as, for example, the Philippines, Thailand and Egypt were convinced to take part. The previous year inventors from 36 countries presented approximately 700 inventions at the trade show.

Austria – Partner of iENA 2016

This year’s partner of the iENA – Austria – is an important innovation generator and a source for creative ideas. The official Austrian participation is organized by the Österreichischen Innovatoren-, Patentinhaber- und Erfinderverband (OPEV – Austrian Association for Innovators, Patent Holders and Inventors). Additionally, several national and international inventors’ associations and initiatives intensify their participation in the show. For example, the International Federation of Inventors` Associations (IFIA) will hold its most important association meeting at Nuremberg. Furthermore, the IFIA will present its efforts for the encouragement of the invention scene throughout the world at the Nuremberg show. This includes, among others, projects for the enhancement of financially weaker inventors’ associations of African and Asian countries.

Initial assistance for inventors

The development of an invention is the first step. But how to proceed from then on to make it a success? Answers to the questions of how to establish legal safeguards for intellectual property, the building of a prototype, competent marketing and how to file requests for subsidies and many other topics are offered by the exhibitors involved in the topic “Initial Assistance for Inventors”. Here the emphasis is placed on important services for inventors and initial points of contact.

The services offered by the iENA are complemented by a lecture programme with insiders and major players of the industry, as well as by the iENA-Innovation-Seminar (28th of October) and the iENA-START-Symposium (29th of October).
