ENVIVIO HIGHLIGHTS INDUSTRY-LEADING VIDEO PROCESSING SOFTWARE AT BROADCASTASIA 2015

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 29 2015 — Envivio, Inc. (Nasdaq:ENVI), a leading provider of software-based video processing and delivery solutions, today unveiled its plans for BroadcastAsia, scheduled June 2-5 in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands.

Fresh at the booth will be demonstrations of Envivio’s latest products and services including demos of four innovative solutions areas: Ultra HD, video processing, video delivery and video monetization. Visitors will see newly released versions of Envivio’s leading products: Envivio Muse™, Envivio Halo™, Envivio Guru™ and Envivio Nuage℠. As well as introducing two new hardware platforms G6 and X1.

At BroadcastAsia, Envivio will also introduce two new hardware platforms, Envivio G6 and X1, to deploy its flagship Envivio Muse transcoding software. Both platforms use the latest generation of Intel Xeon Haswell CPUs to provide outstanding performance and density for video processing and delivery applications. The G6 is designed with high performance in mind, to power premium, large scale operations. The X1 platform is designed for medium sized head-ends requiring a variety of input interfaces and is a versatile, affordable solution.

Envivio Muse: This video compression software,with its new ‘Up!’ compression mode, strives to perfect the latest video quality standards like MPEG-2 and H.264. Muse also improves the statistical rate control of variable bit-rate (VBR) data streams for broadcast video; allows for seamless video switching between sources at a scheduled time; and drastically reduces redundancy time.

Envivio Halo: A powerful solution designed for the distribution, personalization and monetization of multiscreen video services. It supports TV Anytime services such as Catchup TV or Cloud DVR (recording programs in cloud storage for later viewing on any device, but also time-shifting and program start-over), content monetization with dynamic ad insertion (DAI) or distribution of premium VOD with advanced content protection. Deployed across the network, it drastically reduces the bandwidth, storage or equipment footprint usually required to distribute video services securely to smartphones, tablets, connected TVs, game consoles, PCs or OTT set-top boxes.
