Need an Office Upgrade? ‘Show Us Your Office’ for a Chance to Win a New Regus Workspace
DALLAS – August 17, 2010 – As part of its national Fall New Way to Work campaign which will be promoted throughout the U.S. beginning in September, Regus, the leading global provider of flexible workplace solutions, today launched its ‘Show Us Your Office’ contest. This contest will award one lucky business a year of fully furnished office space at any of Regus’ more than 400 locations across the U.S.
From ‘offices’ in coffee shops, to airport lounges, to broom closets, businesses nationwide can simply ‘show us your office’ (or what’s passing for it) by using the contest site www.showusyouroffice.com to submit a photo or video entry highlighting the challenges of their current working situation. Contestants will also have the opportunity to describe how a Regus office would improve their business. Entries will be accepted until October 31, 2010, and a winner will be announced in November 2010.
“A study we recently conducted found that 72 percent of U.S. respondents lack confidence in a business without professional space. It’s clear that working from the local coffee shop or in the park just won’t do for companies trying to attract investments and grow their businesses,” said Guillermo Rotman, CEO, Regus Americas. “We’re happy to be able to help companies put their best foot forward.”
Individuals can also participate in the ‘Show Us Your Office’ contest by voting for their favorite entries, helping to advance the ten entries with the highest votes to a final judging round. In addition to the grand prize of 12 months of consecutive office space at any of Regus’ continental U.S. locations, nine runner-ups will receive a Virtual Office Plus package, which provides contestants with five days of private office time at any Regus business center in the U.S., a prestigious business address, and professional phone handling services.
With a long history of supporting growing businesses, Regus has previously awarded office space to business owners, including to Pam Chmiel, the co-founder of Teen Entrepreneur Boot Camp. Through Regus’ ‘Win an Office’ Sweepstakes, Chmiel was awarded12 months of fully furnished office space at one of Regus’ New York locations.
“I’m so thankful to Regus for continuing to sponsor contests like ‘Show Us Your Office’,” said Chmiel. “Winning the ‘Win an Office’ Sweepstakes in 2009 completely changed our organization, giving us prestigious office space and helping to attract more budding teenage entrepreneurs to participate in our camps. Using Regus’ services has truly affected the trajectory of our business, and I’m excited for another company to experience the productivity and growth ours has in the past year thanks to professional Regus office space.”
Regus offers its clients a full range of cost-effective business-ready workplace products including fully furnished and equipped private offices, meeting rooms with on-site business and administrative support services. Regus clients typically experience up to a 60 percent savings on their facilities costs over leasing traditional office space. For those clients who may not need a full-time office, Regus also offers virtual offices, which allow businesses to instantly gain a presence in a new market with a prestigious, high-profile business address and local telephone answering and mail handling services.
