New iPhone App Puts The Humane Society of the United States at Your Fingertips
(Feb. 19, 2010) – HumaneTV, the new video app from The Humane Society of the United States, gives iPhone and iPod touch users an easy way to keep up to date on the organization’s far-reaching work to protect all animals. The free application is now available in the App Store.
“The HumaneTV app is the best way to stay connected to the work of The Humane Society of the United States on your iPhone or iPod touch,” said chief operating officer Michael Markarian. “Now you can watch short videos anywhere that highlight animal rescues, undercover investigations, and The HSUS’ mission of celebrating animals and confronting cruelty.”
Users can select professional quality videos from categories such as Latest News, Pets, Wildlife and many more. HumaneTV also includes a Facebook share feature and a “press room” for journalists to preview footage available for download from The HSUS server. Content can be updated daily or more often, as the user chooses.
The application is available at itunes.com/apps/humanetv or by visiting the App Store on your device and searching “HumaneTV.”
