Garage+, Asia’s largest non-equity incubator, has selected 21 startups in digital health from eight countries to participate in the Startup Global Program 2017 in Taiwan: 10 days of international exhibition, 1-on-1 meetings with high-level corporate executives. The program is run by Garage+, founded by non-profit Epoch Foundation which is backed by Taiwan’s key players in the global supply chain.

The selected startups are from Canada, the US, Netherlands, Israel, UK, France, Poland, and Taiwan. They specialize in wideband MRI early detection of cancers and dementia diseases, wearable with adaptive artificial intelligence for runners, and non-invasive detection of cardiovascular hemodynamic deterioration.

For the 2017 program, 135 startups in digital health from 22 countries had applied for the opportunity. From previous programs since 2015, one third of the startups has gone on to develop and establish ties with Taiwan’s leading manufacturers.
