DNV GL announces the acquisition of ISC (International Standards Certifications)

16 FEBRUARY, 2015: DNV GL is pleased to announce the acquisition of ISC, an international certification body, with a particular presence in Australia and Asia.

“Through this acquisition, DNV GL increases its footprint and scale, especially in Australia and Japan. We also broaden our expertise within human services, healthcare and disability sectors, a key strategic industry for us. We already have a strong position in the US healthcare accreditation market and continue to grow our business with healthcare providers in Europe and parts of Asia,” says Luca Crisciotti, CEO DNV GL – Business Assurance. “Through this acquisition, we will be able to offer a broader portfolio of certification services to our customers.”

ISC (International Standards Certifications) is a full-service international certification and training body accredited by JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System – Australia New Zealand) and Exemplar Global as a certified training organisation. It provides extensive certification and training services for products and systems across key industry sectors, including healthcare and food & beverage. ISC certifies small through to large organisations, businesses, hospitals and government departments to both National and International standards, across a wide array of management systems and product certifications.
