NANOINK RAISES PROFILE IN ASIA-PACIFIC REGION WITH NEW DISTRIBUTOR IN TAIWAN
CHICAGO, Ill. – October 23, 2012 – The NanoFabrication Systems Division of NanoInk is pleased to announce E-Hong Instruments Co., Ltd. will serve as its distributor in Taiwan for its desktop nanofabrication equipment including the NLP 2000 System, the DPN 5000 System, and MEMs- fabricated consumables. NanoInk’s NanoFabrication Systems Division brings sophisticated nanofabrication to the laboratory in an easy-to-use and affordable platform. E-Hong will add NanoInk to its line of high-precision scientific instruments from around the world for distribution in Taiwan.
“We are delighted to be appointed as the distributor for NanoInk’s products in Taiwan,” said Kuo- Hsuan Chen, Vice-General Manager at E-Hong. “NanoInk’s products complement our current portfolio and are attractive for our targeted materials and life science market.”
“E-Hong has been in the high-tech scientific instrument business for more than 35 years and is already well-connected to our target customers in Taiwan,” said Oliver Yeh, General Manager, NanoInk’s NanoFabrication Systems Division, Asia-Pacific region. “Its sales and technical teams have the in-depth knowledge required to understand the scientific instrument market and it has proven expertise in selling technically sophisticated equipment. With these strengths, E-Hong is the ideal partner for driving sales growth of NanoInk’s unique nanofabrication systems in Taiwan.”
NanoInk’s NLP 2000 System is a desktop instrument that allows researchers to rapidly design and create custom engineered and functionalized surfaces by using Dip Pen NanolithographyÒ (DPNÒ) to transfer minute amounts of materials over a large, environmentally controlled work area. With the ability to create custom patterns of nano-to-microscale features in under an hour, the NLP 2000 System is valuable for protein and biomolecular patterning, microstructure and biosensor functionalization, cell biology and polymer printing applications.
The DPN 5000 System is a full-featured, dedicated instrument for versatile nanopatterning of a variety of materials with nanoscale accuracy and precision. With its user-friendly interface, it is possible to easily design complex patterns while also precisely controlling tip movements during the writing process. The DPN 5000 System is the ideal platform for nanofabrication, nanomaterials and biomaterials applications that exhibit nanoscale printing, imaging and registration requirements.
With a state-of-the-art MEMS manufacturing facility and an experienced MEMS engineering team, NanoInk offers the highest-quality components for use with Dip Pen Nanolithography instrument systems. MEMs-fabricated consumables include single pen tips and multiple pen tip arrays optimized for specific types of DPN deposition work, DPN Substrates marked with addressable location labels, DPN Inkwell arrays designed to deliver print materials to one or several DPN pen tips, and DPN Printing Kits.
