Wells Fargo Names Maggie Mui To Lead Diverse Segment Strategy For The San Francisco Bay Region
SAN FRANCISCO, August 24, 2011 – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) announced the promotion of Magdalen “Maggie” Mui to the position of Regional Director of Diverse Segments. In this newly created position, Mui will be responsible for developing strategies to grow the region’s footprint with diverse segments, with a focus on the Asian community. Mui is a 22-year-veteran of Wells Fargo, having most recently served as Senior Vice President of the Community Bank for the San Francisco market.

An active leader in the Asian community, Mui’s established relationships with various business organizations and key civic leaders will play a key role in supporting her efforts. In her new position, Mui will have responsibility to grow market share across diverse segments in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she will work cross-functionally to develop strategies and identify opportunities that address specific needs.
Mui is a well-regarded civic leader and recognized among friends and colleagues for her contributions in the community. She currently sits on the Board of Directors at the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, the Asian Business League of San Francisco and the Chinese Culture Foundation.
