Perrit Utilizes Miradore Technology to bring IT Device Management Services to Benelux

Helsinki, Finland and Hengelo, The Netherlands – 29 August, 2011 – Miradore, an innovative enabler of automated IT management services, and Perrit, an all-in-one internet solutions provider, today announced a partnership to bring Miradore’s cloud-based IT management solution to the Benelux markets. Under the agreement, Perrit will sell and provide IT device lifecycle and configuration management services based on Miradore’s technology.

The cloud-based Miradore 3.0 provides IT device management with a single dashboard view and remote access to a wide range of end user devices throughout organizations, including PCs, servers, printers, network equipment and smartphones. The solution independently gathers up-to-date asset and configuration data at configurable intervals, performs zero touch bare metal installations, and distributes new applications or packages to end devices.

“The flexibility and scalability of Miradore’s integrated all-in-one device management solution are truly impressive,” said Henk Kok, CEO of Perrit. “The beauty of the cloud-based solution is in its ability to serve and benefit all kinds of organizations ranging from small five person teams to large global corporations. We are fully energized to push this novel service in our market.”

Miradore increases the operational efficiency of managed service providers by bringing real-time visibility and control into their multi-customer IT infrastructure through a single unified solution. The highly automated solution eliminates a large share of manual IT management work, resulting in significant efficiencies and savings, such as the decrease of the typical initial workstation installment time by up to 75 %.

Perrit’s value adding business model as a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) provider of enterprise-class business software in the Benelux market perfectly supports Miradore’s international expansion plans. Serving clients through strong ICT service providers, Miradore is currently in talks about partnerships with leading companies in key target markets.

“The agreement with Perrit contract opens new opportunities for Miradore in the Benelux countries, especially in the interesting midmarket space,” said Kristian Järnefelt, CEO of Miradore.

“Forming strong partnerships with innovative managed service providers such as Perrit is a key step in our international go-to-market strategy. We are looking forward to enable Perrit’s channel partners to represent Miradore’s SaaS based solution in the Benelux markets.”

Miradore benefits end users through the improved quality of IT support services, as their devices can be deployed, configured and updated remotely over the network, without having to wait for IT technicians to handle the issues in person. Other key features include remote power management enabling significant savings in power costs, and remote locking and wiping of lost or stolen devices.

Miradore 3.0 supports Android 2.2 and Symbian 3 based mobile devices, Windows, Linux and OS X for Mac based workstations, and retail point-of-sale (POS) terminals. Support for Apple’s iPhone/iPad will be released during Q4, 2011.
