Genesis Technical Systems mBond® success continues with new revolutionary product range and more trial successes
Coventry, UK – 03 August 2015 – Following the recent announcement of the launch of the revolutionary range of mBond® Flex products, Genesis Technical Systems has today announced that mBond Flex Enterprise is set for a live field trial with NextGenAccess in the coming weeks. This is the first live implementation of the new mBond Flex product range anywhere in the world.
It follows an initial proof of concept lab trial for NextGenAccess in which Genesis Technical Systems demonstrated the performance of mBond Flex Enterprise.
“mBond solutions are allowing us to respond to our customers needs and demands using our existing infrastructure and we are looking forward to this exciting new range of mBond Flex products,” said Kenny Roberts, Technical Director at NextGenAccess.
“NextGenAccess has been trialling mBond Complete for the last three months and we are very pleased with the results that we have achieved. It has allowed us to offer higher bandwidth services to our customers with specific needs whether they are based in remote locations or in areas where they are unable to receive fibre to the premise. The new trial will allow us to evaluate the latest technologies,” he added.
This new generation of mBond products offers even more flexibility for a wide range of customers, from enterprises in business regeneration areas unable to receive fibre to the premise due to historical building restrictions, to remote utility providers such as wind farms.
“We have received excellent feedback from customers who have trialled mBond Complete but we wanted to provide even more flexibility to suit the varying demands of their customers. By supporting any Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) and ADSL2+ the mBond Flex solution range offers service providers a cost-effective copper enhancing technology that allows operators to increase their bandwidth over longer copper distances using their existing infrastructure,” said Mark Stukins, Vice President Global Channel Sales, Genesis.
“mBond Flex Enterprise is the first solution in a new flexible portfolio designed to deliver superfast broadband over copper to meet a range of customer requirements and we are looking forward to developing this further in the future,” he added.
