CSA Group Opens Highly Advanced Medical, Industrial Products and Appliances Testing Facility in Frankfurt, Germany
HONG KONG, May 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — CSA Group, a leading global provider of standards development, testing, and certification services, opened a new testing laboratory in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) on May 15. The new laboratory will specialize in testing and certification services for medical devices such as microscopes, sterilizers and electrical measuring and laboratory devices as well as industrial equipment and household appliances. Testing and certification to international standards is an important service for manufacturers wanting to gain access to global markets.

In 2011, CSA Group expanded into Europe with the establishment of its European headquarters in Frankfurt (Germany) and since then has accelerated its growth and will continue to expand. CSA Group’s operations in Germany also include a laboratory in Strasskirchen, which conducts testing and certification of automotive components, industrial products, radio, IT/AV, and power tools, and is also one of the biggest electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratories in Europe.
