Double A widens its horizon and reach in the MENA region

Dubai, UAE, 3 March 2014 – Double A will launch new product range with the introduction of Double A Toners in the MENA region during Paperworld Middle East 2014. Double A will also unveil its special service centers in the form of Double A Copy Centres (DACC) in the UAE. Customers are invited to visit its booth at Hall 3, Stand 3D12 of Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, from March 4-6.

Over the last few years that MENA has become a key market for Double A, both consumption of paper and the demand for high quality Double A paper continues to grow. To match this growth, Double A has increased paper capacity by 220,000 tons per year at its mill in Prachinburi, Thailand and has successfully acquired Alizay (now Double A Alizay), a French mill that can produce, at full capacity, 300,000 tons of paper per year.

Double A Alizay is producing premium quality paper brands, namely, Double A, Smart Copy, Hi-Plus and Smartist, using short fiber from KHAN-NA, Double A’s sustainable pulp from Thailand.

Following the successful revival of Alizay mill operations in June 2013 and shipment of first batch of high quality paper to the Middle East in August 2013, Double A is ready to step up the game and bring its marketing magic to the Middle East and Europe.

Double A has continued to achieve high level of brand awareness and has been recognized as a Superbrand in 2013. This is the 4th year in a running that Double A has achieved this feat
