FLIR Joins ObjectVideo’s Growing Patent Licensee Base

RESTON, Va., Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — ObjectVideo, Inc. announced today the signing of a global, nonexclusive, royalty-bearing patent license with FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR), the world leader in thermal imaging infrared cameras. The agreement provides FLIR with developmental flexibility, and offers protection for customers deploying FLIR’s intelligent video solutions, such as the company’s FSM Pro software and the broad array of traffic, safety and control products offered by FLIR subsidiary Traficon.

ObjectVideo holds 55 US and international patents in the field of video analytics and has over 40 US and international patents pending.
