Double A Expands Paper Product Portfolio in MENA

Dubai, UAE – Double A to launch Hi Plus and Eagle paper brands at the Paperworld Middle East 2013, March 5-7, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

MENA has become a key market for Double A, both consumption of paper and the demand for high quality Double A paper continues to grow. To match this growth Double A has increased capacity by 250,000 tons at its mill in Prachinburi Thailand and has successfully acquired Alizay, French mill another 250,000 tons, total capacity increase of 500,000 tons in 2013.

Double A has achieved high level of brand awareness and was recognized as a Superbrand in 2011.

“Consumers in MENA have confirmed Double A as their preferred premium copy paper brand. Double A’s recent capacity increase will enable us to match increased demand in this region and to introduce other competitive brands, which will widen our portfolio appeal,” Mr. Thirawit Leetavorn, Senior Executive V.P. commented.

Double A will show case 2 new brands to the region, Hi-Plus and Eagle. Both these brands have shown consumer acceptance in countries across Asia and the United States. The expansion of Double A’s portfolio will assist the trade by increasing their sales opportunities with brand produced from Double A’s high quality mills.
