APNIC Supports IETF Meeting in Beijing

The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) has recently supported the 79th meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as the Welcome Reception Sponsor at the Shangri-La Hotel,Beijing, China.

As part of its commitment to investing in Internet Development in the Asia Pacific Region, APNIC recognizes the importance of the IETF as the Internet’s premier technical standards body. APNIC Director General, Paul Wilson, said APNIC Members are encouraged to join IETF mailing lists and participate in events.

“The IETF is critical to the smooth operation of the global Internet, and these meetings produce high quality, relevant technical documents that influence the design, use, and management of the Internet,” Mr Wilson said.
