25 August 2010 – The 2010 Broadband InfoVision Awards shortlist has been announced today ahead of a Gala Dinner Awards presentation evening at 2010 Broadband World Forum in October.

The Broadband InfoVision Awards have long been established as the industry’s leading awards event celebrating excellence within the broadband marketplace. This year a number of new categories have been added to reflect the full broadband ecosystem and promote the activities of operators and content providers in the Broadband market place.

The judging panel for the Awards include CTOs from ten of the world’s leading broadband operators, significantly contributing to their prestige. The winners will then be announced at a new Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony taking place aboard the Bateau Diamant while cruising down the Seine on 26th October, the opening night of the Broadband World Forum.

The Broadband World Forum 2010 is taking place on 26-28 October at CNIT, La Defense in Paris, France and will this year feature more than 200 leading industry speakers, including 125 global service providers, from around the world addressing over 6,000 attendees across four new tracks covering transport, intelligence, access and services.
