MAPFRE ASISTENCIA REACHES AN AGREEMENT WITH TELMEX IN MEXICO TO OFFER ASSISTANCE FOR TABLETS, LAPTOPS AND PCs
MAPFRE ASISTENCIA has signed an agreement with the Mexican telecommunications company Telmex to offer the product “Extended Warranty” targeted at the technological devices of this operator.
“Extended Warranty” is a unique and innovative product in the insurance market, which provides assistance cover for computers, laptops or tablets after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. This MAPFRE ASISTENCIA’s product will be available to those customers who purchase these technology devices as well as the programme’s card in any of the 388 stores that Telmex has in the country.
MAPFRE operates in Mexico since 1990 and currently it develops Direct Insurance operations in that country, both for individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises and for large corporations and multinational companies; Assistance and Reinsurance.
